Name:
Michael Ruane
Title:
CEO
In 1997, Michael Ruane took over the Lottery Products division of Garron Plastics. After establishing Garron Lottery Products as a separate entity, he moved the business into a dedicated shop and the plastics company was then sold.
To support the growing business, Michael recruited from the pool of craftsmen who had previously worked for Garron Plastics in the electrical, carpentry and acrylic fabrication departments of the lottery division. In the first few years under his leadership, Garron Lottery Products developed new models such as the Skipjack, Titan and Double Diamond and sales began to grow in the US and abroad.
Michael, who had been employed by the plastics company as a teenager, had always been drawn to the lottery division for the skills set it demanded. As a graduate of Maryland Institute, College of Art, he has the artistic eye and exacting nature called for in the manufacture of lottery drawing equipment. Michael is a craftsman, highly skilled in design and mechanics, as well as the fabrication of plastic, metal and wood.
As CEO of a growing company, Michael manages the design and manufacturing of the drawing equipment and serves as the main technical contact for the client base. He also manages the Global Maintenance Program and advises on general technical issues. |
